Lacons Brewery

Mechway were contacted by Lacons Brewery to help with the design and installation of new pallet racking, and new impact protection for their keg store. 

Following site visits and meetings with the Lacons team, a design was agreed and the order was placed. Due to the brewery needing to facilitate pallet storage and a Pick & Pack process, various beam levels were included to streamline their operation. 

The keg store was vast and required over 120metres of impact protection. This protection was installed to protect the buildings walls from accidental bumps while moving pallets of kegs. Anti collapse mesh also insured no pallets slipped from the racking into the keg storage area while personnel worked. 

The Lacons management were impressed with the work put in by the Mechway Team, that they later called us back to discuss their warehouse cleaning requirements. This  subsequently lead to an order for a Karcher ride on scrubber drier/sweeper complete with a maintenance program.
