Skinners had invested in building of a new warehouse at their mill for the storage of raw material. The Directors of the company reached out to Mechway to supply and plan and quotation for the works. There were other companies involved in the quotation process, but Mechway were successful in acquiring the contract.

The storage of raw materials can be tricky, with a mixture of palletised bags and 1tonne totes to consider. A good solid plan was produced and the recommendation of wire mesh to be installed on each level was accepted by the customer. MHE was discussed and inspected to make sure the isle widths were suitable, while maximising the stock holding.

A set down area was also required but should be kept to a minimum requirement to allow again for maximum stock holding. The installation went that well that Mechway were asked to install new racking in their other warehouse a year later.
